Scaramucci: I Didn’t Think I’d Last Too Long, ‘But I Thought I’d Last Longer Than a Carton of Milk’

On Monday night, Anthony Scaramucci spoke with Stephen Colbert on his very short tenure as White House Communications Director.“Do you feel burned by your experience at the White House?” Colbert asked. “You were there for ten days, you’re extremely loyal to the president, even til this point where you were ‘shown the door’ as it were. Do you feel burned or backstabbed?”

Scaramucci told The Late Show host that he would change “absolutely nothing” if he were to look back because he didn’t want to “morph” or “change” himself and said if “the good lord put you in a direction or a stream where it’s going the right way, great things will happen. And if it doesn’t happen, I’m totally okay with it.” “At the end of the day, you gotta accept what your fate is, and you have to do it without any bitterness, and you have to stay humble,” he concluded.
