WATCH: Trump changes the topic in less than 3 seconds after being asked if Russia is a threat

When taking questions from the foreign media at a press conference on Monday, Trump dodged a question from a Finnish reporter who asked about the way America views Russia. “Mr. Trump, would you consider Russia as a security threat?” the reporter asked the president. Without missing a beat, Trump deflected.

“I consider many countries as a security threat, unfortunately, when you look at what’s going on in the world today,” Trump answered. “We consider that a very, very important part of the world,” he continued. “We have great relationships there.” After touting his “great relationship” to the reporter’s home country of Finland, Trump returned to his vague discussion of foreign threats. “And so, I would consider many countries threats, but these are all threats that we’ll be able to handle if we have to,” the president said. “Hopefully we won’t have to handle them, but if we do, we will handle them.”
